03 May: Eitan: A Story of Strength, Courage & Love

Last year, I had the pleasure of meeting Vera and her son Eitan. Their story really made an impact in our lives not only because of the strength, courage, love, and patience involved, but also because of the unexpected yet beautiful role Baby Noomie played in all this. Little Eitan was connected to different tubes that assisted him in eating and feeding and our baby clothing was the most comfortable choice for easy in and out and softness. A year later, Eitan is an amazing toddler, running around free, happy, and most importantly, healthy. And Vera, is just a supermom keeping it all together. 03 May: 5 de Mayo Noomie Style

5 the Mayo is the perfect chance to teach your little ones a little bit about our history and for them to learn about different cultures. The idea is to make history a little bit more fun for the kids, so instead of just reading the story you could try having a mexican night with some typical food: tacos, quesadillas and maybe a piñata. Wear a cool Mexican themed noomie  PJ and take a few seconds to seat on the carpet sing and read the story of 5 de Mayo…then you can tell the kids to reenact the story.   Here is the story you can read to the kids: Cinco de Mayo is the celebration of the courage of the Mexican people during the battle (La Batalla de Puebla) on May 5th, 1862 where 4,500 Mexican soldiers defeated the Mexican traitors and French army of 6,500 at Puebla, Mexico….
