Easy & simple DIY sensory bags
Around the age of 8 months – 18 months a child can’t help but poke everything in sight! They are poking their food, their toys, just about anything they can get their hands on. At this stage in their life, it is both beneficial and fun for them to explore different kinds of textures and engage in sensory play!
Given the current state of the world right now, we have decided to work with what we’ve got at home! Here are some tips & tricks on how to create a sensory wall for your little ones right at home with things you can find around your house!
What you’ll need:
- Plastic Storage Bags
- Water
What you can use:
- Oil
- Sprinkles
- Food Coloring
- Corn Starch
- Rice
- Pom Poms
- Glue
- Paint
- Little Toys
- Glitter
- Confetti
- Sand
- Marbles
- Pebbles
- String
- Really, anything that will fit in the bag! LOL
